• Our opening 2007 season featured the first “Zero Waste” Program in Utah.
• In 2009 PSSM saw 90,000 visitors and sent 2 bags of trash to the landfill, for the whole season and fed 4 generations of pigs with the food waste.

• Each week PSSM hosts a local or national sustainability speaker/group, providing them with free space to promote themselves and the opportunity to speak on one of our stages to educate and inspire our community.
• PSSM support’s local agriculture and continues to develop its farmer’s market. We also support Utah’s Own and Slow Food Utah’s efforts to educate the community about buying locally and becoming a sustainable community.
