Vendors
Dear Vendors,
What a great opening day for Park Silly Sunday Market! An estimated 9,000 visitors made their way to Main Street on Sunday - the largest attendance yet - and a lot of vendors completely sold out. Woo-hoo! With a kick-off like this, we’re only expecting the silly season to get better and better.
As with all events, we do have a few important points to go over with you as follows:
Parking – Please follow our guidelines or you run the risk of getting a ticket
- There is plenty of designated vendor parking that is free all day on the top of China Bridge and on either side of City Hall.
- There is also free parking on the east side of Park Ave. below the 950 block and in the lower parking lot of Park City Mountain Resort.
- Parking anywhere else is off-limits to vendors. If you park in a spot with a time limit, you will get a ticket. We’ve reminded all of you not to park in Swede Alley or in any other timed parking areas, but yet we’ve still received complaints about tickets being served. Please follow our parking guidelines, and you won’t get a ticket. It’s really that simple!
- Please also be courteous of Park City residents and don’t park in residential areas. Imagine how you would feel if your regular residential parking spots were taken over by a Sunday invasion of cars not from the neighborhood – you’d be upset! Please keep our community in mind and think twice before doing something like this.
Trash – We are a Zero-Waste market
- As a vendor at PSSM, you are responsible for your own trash. That means that you will have to bring your own trash bags, do your own recycling and take everything with you when you leave.
- Our Zero-Waste Bins are for market visitors only. Vendors are not allowed to use the Zero-Waste Bins for any reason. If we see that you are using the Zero-Waste Bins, you will receive a warning only once. The second time it happens, we will have to ask you not to return to the market.
- Please pick up after yourselves before leaving the premises. Your booth space should be left the way you found it with NO LITTER in it. If this becomes an ongoing problem, we reserve the right to charge you for clean up costs, and it may also result in your not being invited back to the market.
Load Out – Vehicles are allowed back into the venue starting at 5:30pm
- Vendors are expected to stop selling and start breaking down their booths at 5pm.
- You must break everything down and put it on the sidewalk behind your booth before leaving the venue to get your vehicle.
- When you return to your booth location, please pull over to the side of the street so that other vehicles can pass. IF YOU BLOCK THE ROAD, YOU RUN THE RISK OF POLICE INVOLVEMENT AND GETTING TOWED, plus you are holding everyone else up. Please don’t put yourself and the rest of us through this. Thank you!
Onsite Food Vendors – New load out directions & NO STYROFOAM
- Load in and load out directions are opposite morning and evening:
- Load in: enter Dear Valley Dr. and exit 9th St.
- Load out: enter 9th St. and exit Dear Valley Dr.
- NO STYROFOAM and NO TIN FOIL. These materials are NOT allowed at the market. If we see that you are using these products, we reserve the right to ask you to leave, and you will not be invited back to the market.
If you have any questions about the above, please let me know.
We look forward to seeing you next Sunday!
Sincerely silly,
Alexandra Bassett
