Dear Volunteers:
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Park Silly Sunday Market. We are very excited to work with you on this fun community event again in 2011. We have some GREAT Gifts and Discounts for our volunteers this year including: Ski Passes to the Canyons (Eligible for an Industry Pass with 10 Sundays of service), Concert Tickets, Massage & Spa gift cards, vendor donations, as always breakfast and lunch and so much more. We are in need of volunteers for every Sunday from June 12th to Sept 25th (Except Aug 7th, we are off).
* All Volunteers meet at the Park Silly Sunday office. 710 Main St., Park City, UT (Behind Destination Sports and Doolan's). Volunteer Check-in begins at 9:30am for the AM shifts and 1pm for the PM shifts.

We are using a brand new on-line sign up system this year www.signupgenius.com it will help streamline the sign-up process and allow for easier tracking of volunteer hours. Here is how to do it:

  1. Go to SignUpGenius.com
  2. Sign up w/your info (Name, email, & password) it's that easy!
  3. Click "Find a Sign Up" at the top

  5. Pick what you want to do & click (once you pick one all the dates for the whole season will show up)
  6. Read the description and sign up. The number in parenthesis is the slots available.
  7. If you sign up a friend please put their name in the comments section.
  8. Show UP for the Silliness!

We have a variety of fun stations and shifts available here they are!

  • Gatekeeper(6): Helping move vendor traffic in and out of venue. (Will be standing on the street, Shift times are slightly different then ones listed below, 7;00am-10:00am, and 5:00pm-7:00pm.)
  • Security(3): Located at check points to make sure no one is leaving the Beer Garden with alcohol. (Seated with an umbrella)
  • Information Booth - ID Checker(4): Checking identifications and distributing wristbands to visitors over 21 and drinking alcohol in the Beer Garden. (Must be over 21 and sips & tips certified. Mostly standing in the shade)
  • Roamer(2): Gathering information from the guests visiting the venue, need to grants. (Walking though out the venue)
  • Information Booth - Concessions(4): Selling water and soda to the guests. (seated in the shade)
  • SillySubs(2): Gives breaks to Volunteers as assigned by Volunteer Coordinator. Helps bring continuity to the market and keeps people fresh. (Moving around the venue doing any of the jobs)
  • Information Booth - Admissions(4): Tracking all guests that attend the Market. Offering information about the venue and Park City. (Seated in the shade)
  • Zero-Waste Educators(2) AM shift: Helping out the Park Silly Sunday Market's Zero Waste team educate the public on the importance of recycling in the comumnity.

Shift Times: 10:00am - 1:30pm and/or 1:30 - 5:00pm

Volunteer Check-in begins at 9:00 am. for the AM shifts and 1pm for the PM shifts.
